High School Students: Youth Commons

All students start in a large group gathering and then break into small groups. This is a great time to meet people, make new friends and study God's word.

 
UMYF

UMYF is a time of fellowship & fun for 6th - 12th graders, and meets every Sunday evening from 4:30 -5:45 in Youth Commons & Wesley Hall. UMYF also hosts special events and outings throughout the year. Bring a friend and don't forget to eat before you come.

 
Covenant Groups
THIS is where discipleship takes place! Covenant groups are small groups that commit to meeting weekly outside of church (typically with an adult leader) and include sharing, bible, prayer, accountability, and vulnerablity. Contact Jay to find the right covenant group for you!
 
Salt and Light Youth Choir

Salt and Light is the SAUMC youth choir for students in 6th-12th grade. Members sing in worship twice a month, participate in the Valentine show, "From St. Andrew with Love" and finish off the year with an incredible U.S. summer tour that involves mission opportunities and concerts. Want to become a part of the excitement? New members are always welcome!  Contact Chris at ccrook@standrewumc.org.

 
High School Lunch Bunch

A dedicated group of SAUMC youth parents and volunteers host lunch for area high school students every Wednesday. Come to the Youth Commons during A or B lunch and bring a friend!

Week 4: Sub Sandwiches

Week 5: Frito Pie
